The Baskets B Grade had a solid win to finish of the 2010/11 season in Round 9 over Mylor. It was a great way for the boys to finish off the year against a team who have made 5 consecutive finals and again topped the competition in 2010/11. The Ranges batted first and posted 166 from 66 overs, Cranny topped the run scorers with 60 and had some good support from Berza 23, Kepa 28 and Hayden Basford 23.
The Ranges have always challenged Mylor with the ball and Round 9 was no exception. Kepa who ripped through the Magpies claiming 5/19 was the star of the show and was supported by some tight bowling from Hayden, Geersy and Cranny. It only took 44 overs for Baskets to rattle the Magpies for 106 and claim first innings points. The game was evidence of what the team, who lost a couple of important games early is capable of, especially against the competition benchmark
